Went to this new ramen spot last nite, it was one of the better ramen that i've tasted so far. Ajisen is not really in its class to even begin any comparison with :P
Was recommended to try by a friend for my coming big day. It was advertised here. Then i did a little googling and found this. Like the author claims, the char siew is a must try...though a bit fatty (thats what all good char siew should be anyway) but indeed, it does sort-of...melt in your mouth. The ramen was something like wanton mee, fine and soft. Overall the dinner was a good recommend.
Had Toni Romas the night before and more eating to come on saturday and sunday. I hope i dont put on too much weight to have to shed some lead on my trip.
Its a Friday today. I'm off for my holiday on Monday. Not much in the mood to do anything. Not even blogging...just trying to put some words here before i go off. Hopefully this time i would be able to do better than the last. My seiko will be finally put to good use and also...serve its purpose :)

DING!!!
Finally! My long weekends of grinding and questing paid off!
As of last saturday, my druid...my alter self in the virtual world turns 70!
grats to me!

On Sunday, i managed to complete my Kurenai rep. Exalted!!! =) Got myself the white war talbuk...wooohooooo...this is so much better than my old swift frostsaber :P Well, at least...it doesnt come easy.

Well, now that im 70...what is there to do next...? I guess...i can start raiding again...hmmm...but then...i might actually get bored of it *again* pretty soon.
I suppose now its finally a good time to start planning for my next trip. Ahhhh...Ain't life interesting? ;)

AN 'ENFP'
Its been a while since I have written anything on this spot. Partially, i have almost forgotten i once own a blog. The other part; i lost the passion to write again. Been busy with alot of stuff in life. WoW came back. Burning Crusade was a little too hard to shake off. Despite the fact that my friends have been barking and harrasing me to get it. I finally gave in. Now after a not-so-constant battling with the fel demons of outlands, I'm finally out of my druidic form. Back to the world where i can still enjoy some decent chats with friends over a late nite internet session.
Was given this link by a colleague of mine earlier. Said this Jung guy was some sort of famous psychologist. The results were pretty amazing. At least, for my case...i think the outcome would have described,if not 90%... probably around 70-80% of me.
Free Jung Personality Test (similar to Myers-Briggs/MBTI)

A tourist in my own homeland.
It is a peculiar feeling. Despite my numerous trips; every fortnight, I have never felt this way before.
Today I came back on an ordinary Monday. A working day. Dressed in my office wear, embarking from Changi in Singpore and arriving in KLIA by almost noon. It could have been just an ordinary working day. But the fact that I'm flying home; for work, for the first time made me kinda... anxious. I thought it would be much simpler than it already is. No big deal, just back to my own homeland for two short weeks. It could have been just like before...few years back...working life in KL.
Perhaps its the hotel or maybe its just the treatment I've received at the client's place today that made me feel somewhat 'different'. I felt like a tourist. Like as if I dont belong here anymore. People at the client's place referred to me as the vendor from Singapore. Though I'm still local (i have assured most of them that i am), to them...i'm still an employee of a vendor...from Singapore.
Friends that I have contacted about me coming back for two weeks (normal working weeks) have been more than warm to line up meet-ups, dinners etc. which i'm still glad about. I could have gone home...but i suppose that would have to wait till the weekend.
I thought I would be able to sleep early, get up early, have breakfast at the hotel and go out to work early before I jumped into bed earlier. I have tried. Rolling on the new bed for almost 30mins now, still I dont seem to be able to fall asleep just yet. Bought a prepaid internet card earlier at the lobby for RM100 for a 24 hours acess. An expensive rate, I think. But since this is reimbursible, I suppose I couldn't care any less. So it's a lil surfing and blogging time for me...it's been quite a boring week, if not months...this short burst of excitement, i suppose...arrived at a pretty good time.

Ha Yi Bun? Ha Er Bin?
"Ha Yi Bun" she said, when she passed me this cute lil souvenir. I've got the same one last year from my cousin who got it from Russia. I asked again, "Where?". She said "Ha Er Bin". Hmmm...it must be in some foreign tongue. I said, "What is it call in english...?". "Ha Er Bin!". ?!?!?!?!! Where the hell is that??? She said that place is somewhere in China, somewhere up north, near the borders of Russia. "Oh...", thats the only reply I can think of.

The New Read
Despite the fact that I'm still struggling with my current book, the one which has sat there collecting dust for the past few months; except for a few occasional flips during my boring, need-to-read-a-book days (dragging and testing my patience with every turn)...I found myself a new one during lunch just now. I have a good feeling I would probably finish this first.

Its all in a day...
The grumpy, agitated me didn't last for that long. I've been alrite since yesterday. Today...it gets even better. I was out in the morning at about 10:20, had breakfast with a friend over at Cartel's. The omelette wasn't as good as what someone proclaims...and it got me and my friend feeling sick till noon. By noon we were already at Vivocity. I got another pair of Zara's denim this round. Perhaps its my luck...at this time of sales, I still managed to get hold of one my size. Since the price has been double-slashed...what more reason do i need? And...I thought that was all i need to be happy in a day...but i guess...when lady luck smiles upon you...it could happen...more than once.
We spent an hour or perhaps three, walking around...buying more stuff...snacks and chocolates, mainly. Getting all high spending cash. Then i recalled, that I have something which I wanted to get. But its somewhere in CityLink. Since we're done with Vivo...CityLink is just on the way home.
So we took a train down to cityhall...and went over to the shop. But then, it just suddenly strikes me- that the last time I found something I wanted at this shop, I didn't stop to look at the shop opposite. With my friend around, I don't feel so shy this time. So I went in...and as I was browsing the displays...I saw it laying there. All these while...all the effort...all the help signals I've been sending across to my friend to find this piece of instrument...and...it's just there...only this time...this is a cleaner one, dust free and everything is...well, perfectly right. And they so happen to have two of the same kind (not that i needed two, but its just good to know that this is not a leftover or somekind :P). Best of all when I asked to try it on...it fits perfectly, like what i have imagined. And even better, there's a discount! I swiped my card...for a mere 311SGD (before discount was like 389SGD), and 15mins later...it's on my wrist for the remaining of the day till i got home. I suppose...this is just my day. :)
