It's chilly today. The air conditioner is blowing at its max, just right above where I'm sitting. Have made myself a cup of hot tea after lunch. Primarily, to warm my ice-cold fingers. Haven't been doing much today. Just chatting and surfing mostly. Occasionally I'd look at my IDE, change a few lines of code...compile...and let it stay cold for another 30mins or so. Been repeating this process since this morning. Monday perhaps? Hmmm...I don't know, I never really have that kinda Monday Blue believes. When you're slacking off, you're slacking off. Blame it on Monday...and when Tuesday comes? Just heard the one opposite me saying...Tuesday would be Tuesday Blur. See what I mean?
Recently, I came upon an article of my interest - ancient egypt. I'm a fanatic. I named my devices according to those names of ancient egyptian gods and goddesses. Sometimes i would ask myself ... could I be an egyptian in my past life? I've never been too obsessed about a certain thing. Not like this.
Anyway back to the article....Apparently, the name "Imhotep" was the name of the architect who designed the first pyramid - The Step Pyramid.
(sounds familiar? Remember that evil guy from the box office - The Mummy and The Mummy Returns?) After this architect's death, somehow he ended up to a God of Medicine and was worshipped for more than 2000 years. Discovery - Mummy Detectives
In ancient times, things are so much simpler and people are just so easily deceived. If we have the technology to go back in time, I'd like to see how it's like there and then. I'm sure there are quite a number of others who think the same too. The show - Time Machine, a few years back ... some said its crap...but I find it quite interesting...and amusing at the same time...watching the scene at the window display of the garment store across the street changes as the time traveller lapses into time...that part alone sums up the whole 'greatness' about that show. Was browsing through google just now, seems like there is another episode of "Time Machine" back in the 1960s. Haven't seen that though, wonder how it's like. Hmmm...come to think of it, there wasn't any interesting movie showing lately...the only thing I'm looking forward to is the Star Wars: Episode 3 : Revenge of Sith. Hopefully it is something which is worth waiting this long for.

Hey, never knew u are so into Egyptian stuffs. Well, actually I'm a big fan of those crap too. I suppose it's all because of the mysteries surrounding 'em. Besides Egptians, stuffs like Babylonian, Aztech, etc. Anyway, there was this programme the other day over National Geographic (if not mistaken) about pyramids around the world. Do u know that there are lots of pyramids around the world not just in Middle-East?? Well, an ardent fan like u, I'm pretty sure u know about it. Well, the programme talks about why pyramids were built?? And which is the first?? Also how it got to America and other continents. Well, if u saw that programme, probably u already knew about it!!
There is this pyramid recently found outside the coast of Japan .. Apparently, it is the largest pyramid found .. even larger than Giza (hope I spelled it correctly and the right one too) .. and if not mistaken the oldest too .. But the programme did not dwell into that pyramid. It then went on to talk about this group of scientist (or crazy people) emulating the journey from Middle-East to America crossing Atlantic ocean using those rafts (olden Egyptian stlyed .. made of I don't know what u call 'em) .. fuck it .. Anyway, the theory works and actually those bunch of idiots made it to Bahamas .. Man!!! I was pretty impressed with those experiments they did!!
Besides that, recently those archeologist just discovere another hidden chamber in one of the pyramids where they say may be the key of all those mysteries (so they said so many times over and over again) coz that chamber is really hidden .. So far they manage to send some bots inside this tight long chamber and find that it's blocked by a giantic wall purposely fitted as it has some copper handles .. What is behind that wall?? Nobody knows for now. It did some computer simulation how the wall was used to block the chamber .. seems like those fuckers who blocked it also died as there are no other way out!
Hhhmmm .. Perhaps people like us are fascinated by the mysteries, the unknown and loads of crap theories, which made us so interested in 'em!!
