TRUE...it sucks.

It's been almost 2 years.
And lately i've been getting pretty upset with this yoga center of mine.
They have just EXPANDED. Thats what their banners or promo fliers have been telling every innocent souls out there. Yeah, indeed they have, at Ocean Towers. But with bigger rooms, they can place MORE mats and get more people into that room. Whats the difference??? The mats are so CLOSELY placed next to each other. I dont even have enough space to stretch and move!

They mentioned, controlled size in classes, limited students per class etc. Yeah, limited alright. Whenever u try to book, they said "sorry, fully book at 7pm, 7:15pm also, until 8pm. This is PEAK HOUR, maybe u should come during off peak hours". What the ?! If you know you cannot handle so many members during that hour, YOU should do something about it rite? And u still see them trying very hard to signup new members every now and then. But how often do they EXPAND?

Recently they tried to entice me to extend my contract for another 3 years. LUCKY i didn't fell for that. Saying i could save $20 per month if i extend. Well, i think in this case, i'll just save ALL my money instead.

A new place called...room

I've shifted into my new place last weekend. This place is alot cozier than my previous. A big contribution came from my housemate cum owner which happens to be an ex-interior designer. Thus the layout and settings of the house (including my room) has got an artists' touch to it. It made me kinda uncomfortable at first, everything was so neat and properly arranged. I had a feeling like i'm living in an IKEA home. And yea, most of the stuff in the house, i think probably comes from IKEA or some other designer/label furniture store. A pretty expensive rental i'm paying, most people tells me. But hey, if it comes with free room cleaning and laundry services...i suppose its all good. At least, it is...for now. Barely a week in this new place, and i'm pretty sure this is only a beginning of yet another...adventure.

Here are some pics of the new place.

shedding off skin

It's been a week plus since i started my break. Today its back to reality. No more fantasy gaming and stuff.

The trip was quite an adventure. I've not just had my advanced OW but also im a certified NITROX diver too! WOoooot!!! Grats to me! ;) TWO new licences under my belt in just 1 trip. The course was pretty tough. I have to wake up at 7am every morning. The boat leaves at 8am. We packed our lunches, which was sold by an uncle every morning and taken to our respective boats. Reach the dive site, all we do was just...DIVE. 3 dives a day. We dont come back till 4pm or 5pm. At night, i have to do the exercises. Studying for my certification. There was once that i fell asleep on my bed, woke up 5am and had to press on with the writing work. Tougher than my working life i must say :P

My skin's been scraping off like a snake's since i got back. Got careless. Got burnt. Badly. I have to start peeling off the dead skin from my back and arms. And its giving me quite an uncomfortable itch too. :(

Here
are some pics which i have taken during my stay. Too bad I dont own a good cam to bring out to sea just yet...working on it...donations are welcome :)

Leaving / Living for life

Went to this new ramen spot last nite, it was one of the better ramen that i've tasted so far. Ajisen is not really in its class to even begin any comparison with :P

Was recommended to try by a friend for my coming big day. It was advertised here. Then i did a little googling and found this. Like the author claims, the char siew is a must try...though a bit fatty (thats what all good char siew should be anyway) but indeed, it does sort-of...melt in your mouth. The ramen was something like wanton mee, fine and soft. Overall the dinner was a good recommend.

Had Toni Romas the night before and more eating to come on saturday and sunday. I hope i dont put on too much weight to have to shed some lead on my trip.

Its a Friday today. I'm off for my holiday on Monday. Not much in the mood to do anything. Not even blogging...just trying to put some words here before i go off. Hopefully this time i would be able to do better than the last. My seiko will be finally put to good use and also...serve its purpose :)

DING!!!

Finally! My long weekends of grinding and questing paid off!

As of last saturday, my druid...my alter self in the virtual world turns 70!
grats to me!

On Sunday, i managed to complete my Kurenai rep. Exalted!!! =) Got myself the white war talbuk...wooohooooo...this is so much better than my old swift frostsaber :P Well, at least...it doesnt come easy.

Well, now that im 70...what is there to do next...? I guess...i can start raiding again...hmmm...but then...i might actually get bored of it *again* pretty soon.

I suppose now its finally a good time to start planning for my next trip. Ahhhh...Ain't life interesting? ;)
